MISSION
Spanish Public Radio’s mission is to cultivate and sustain the Spanish-speaking community through a multi-media platform broadcast through the Internet. SPR broadcasts a highly relevant news, music, arts, culture, financial, and educational content in Spanish. To accomplish this, SPR seeks to create an informational meeting place to build meaningful and lasting relationships by connecting listeners to their local communities and native countries.
VISION
SPR is committed to positively impacting the Spanish-speaking community by sharing authentic stories to build multi-disciplined sources of knowledge that will help future generations maintain and enrich their traditions and cultures.
NEED
The Spanish speaking population in the United States currently lacks access to media that promotes the development of a well-informed and engaged community. SPR seeks to enrich the lives of its listeners through programming that inspires educational, cultural, and civic proficiency while promoting listeners to maintain and participate in their culture.
