Interview to the muralist Humberto Saldaña
This month PUNTO DE VISTA
visit Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood to see a mural that is also in the mosaic style. According to artist Humberto Saldañaa of the GREEN STAR MOVEMENT organization, the mural at James Hedges Elementary School is a tribute to the Latino culture with images and symbols from Latin countries. Saldaña describes the reason for his decition of choosing this subject and the importance of involving students.
