In the MiddleDay (Al Mediodía) with Salvador Spain
We speak with Dr. Leonardo Rodríguez about heart conditions.
Dr. Rodriguez tells us that heart disease is the number one cause of death among all Americans and that Hispanics and Latinos have an increased risk of cardiovascular disease due to high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes. February, it is Heart Health Month and a survey from the Cleveland Clinic on the health of this important organ discovered that there is a strong need to teach the population how to respond to the signs of a heart attack.
