FELIX CANDELA EXHIBITION UNAM-CHICAGO
Spanish-Mexican Candela, a former professor at UIC from 1971 to 1978, rocked the world of architecture with his renowned concrete shells built in the 1950s and 1960s. This exhibit is part of an effort to preserve and promote Candela’s legacy. We talked with the architect Marcos Mazari Hiriarte about the exhibition. Mazari is the director of the Faculty of Architecture of UNAM.
