Rev. Dr. Sid L Mohn is ordained clergy in the United Church of Christ and is professed in the Order of
Ecumenical Franciscans. For more than 30 years he served as President of Heartland Alliance, the largest
U.S based human rights organization. He launched their Latin American programs and served as
President of Alianza Heartland Mexico, a Mexican NGO. He founded the National Immigrant Justice
Center, the Illinois Coalition on Immigrant and Refugee Rights, and Centro Romero. He served as Chair of
the Board of the National Immigration Forum and on the boards of International Social Services and the US Committee for Immigrants and Refugees
